Hair Fusion

In the advent of hair extension, many women opt for this service to enhance their beautiful tresses or to simply to have a long shiny voluminous hair. Hair extensions are a great way to achieve any desired length without waiting for the hair to grow, as this can be very long. The only question at hand is what method to use when bonding the extensions to the hair. There are many methods of bonding but not all of these methods are suitable for all hair types. The method will depend on the hair structure and the recommendation of the stylist. In this case, how would one know what method is appropriate for her? Simply put, choose the method that will make the extension last longer without tearing the pockets due to the price.

Bonding method such as using glue, sewing, or tubing will not last for a long period. Technically, it will only last for a couple of months given the proper maintenance and hair care. For longer lasting hair extensions, one should opt for a fusion bonding technique, as it will last for about three to six months. This technique involves keratin protein of the natural hair through bonding glue. There are two primary types of fusion bonding, it either cold fusion or hot fusion.

These techniques are similar since both attach the hair extensions through a glue or protein bond near the scalp. Considering hot fusion, this is the more common approach; the hair is attached with a keratin or glue with the use of a special heating tool, which bonds the extension. On the other hand, the cold fusion method is used for thin and fine hairs, which are prone to breakage. Likewise, the approach is similar to the hot fusion but this is less damaging as compared to the hot fusion. Instead of using heat, a sonic attachment tool is utilized to bond the hair extension.

It would be best to choose a stylist with special training to ensure the quality of the bonding of the hair extensions. When the extensions are bonded in good shape, it will appear natural as if it is real hair. In addition, it will not damage the hair in which the extension is bonded to. Fusion has been a popular choice of bonding hair extension because it is applicable to human hair of all varieties in terms of colors and textures. In this regard, there is more flexibility to choose the extension that will look natural and fitting.

Although this type of hair extension is quite laudable, there is a disadvantage to it. Simply put, the price for this service is a little bit steep. In addition, when the extensions are not maintained; there is a tendency for it to fall of f or look dull. With hair extensions, price should be considered the quality; do not sacrifice quality for price.
